Hello Stealth, Goodbye Beta

Today marks one year since we launched Stealth BETA, and we're excited to announce that Stealth is now generally available!

After 12 months of rigorous beta testing, feedback, and iteration, it brings us immense pleasure to bring our confidential data platform to the market. Not only is this an important milestone for our team, but for all individuals and teams seeking to regain control of their data privacy.

A New Chapter in Data Privacy

Stealth was conceived from a single core belief: that privacy is not a privilege, but a fundamental right. In an age where data breaches are the norm, and digital surveillance is pervasive, securing your information should be simple, seamless, and above all, secure. Stealth delivers all this, and more.

At Stealth's core is a zero-knowledge, end-to-end encrypted filesystem. When you sign up for Stealth, a set of keys is generated to encrypt everything you'll ever upload - file contents, file names, folder structure, metadata, and more. This keystore is encrypted with your password, so that no one other than you, including ourselves, can access your data. Why is that important? Because it ensures that your data is yours, and not ours. Since we can't see it, if we ever get breached, your data remains safe. That's the beauty of end-to-end encryption.

What if you're concerned about your team's data? We've got you covered. Whether you're a startup trying to keep your trade secrets, well, secret, or you're a law firm concerned about the confidentiality of your client documents; Stealth is the right solution for you. With the introduction of Team Files in Stealth 1.1.0, you now have an end-to-end encrypted repository where your team can collaborate, in full privacy.

And what if you're trying to privately share files outside your organization? Well, that's covered too. With Encrypted Link Sharing, you can share files and folders with two clicks. The link generated for those files contains an encryption key, so that only the intended recipient (and no one else) can view the files you're sharing. You can even set the link to expire after a single use,  further reducing the chance of unauthorized access.

We think that Encrypted Link Sharing is so valuable that we made it available for everyone. That's right, even if you don't have a Stealth account, you can send encrypted links with Stealth Share!

Introducing Stealth Pro

Stealth is, and will remain, free for everyone. If you have a valid email address, you can claim your 10GB of free, end-to-end encrypted cloud storage. 10GB, however, isn't enough for everyone, and running a cloud storage platform is expensive. In order to keep our platform ad-free and available to everyone, we're introducing Stealth Pro.

Stealth Pro allows you to get more storage (as much or as little as you may need) and access powerful features. Team accounts, Team Files, and advanced sharing features are just the start. We've got some exciting features in the pipeline, and we can't wait to share them with you!

Thank You

To the 40,000 of you who tried Stealth BETA, thank you. Your feedback, bug reports and suggestions turned Stealth into what it is today, and we couldn't have done this without you.

As a small token of our appreciation, we'd like to give you three months of Stealth Pro for free. Just reach out to us at beta@cyborg.co and we'll get you sorted!

On behalf of the entire Cyborg team,
Thank you.
