> Cyborg builds confidential AI infrastructure. Our flagship product, CyborgDB, is a vector database that performs similarity search directly on an encrypted index — self-hosted in your VPC or on-prem. Storage, backups, and the wire only ever hold ciphertext. Only the final candidates are decrypted. We also build Stealth (end-to-end encrypted personal cloud storage) and Stealth File Share (zero-knowledge file transfer).

Cyborg is a production-grade alternative to plaintext vector databases. Encrypted search, BYOK/HYOK key custody, and ann-benchmarks-verified performance that beats Weaviate, Milvus, Qdrant, Elasticsearch, LanceDB, and pgvector at 99% recall — while encrypted.
